Disclosure – I was compensated by QVC for this post. All opinions are my own.
Probably obvious by the title, I’m partnering with QVC to share outfit ideas for spring occasions you may have booked. You may be surprised by all the great brands QVC carries, my personal fav being Barefoot Dreams, but others I love like Sam Edelman and IT Cosmetics as well.
One of my favorite things about shopping for clothes on QVC is that they show videos of real women wearing the pieces they sell. Videos make items much more REAL to me than staged and edited photos. I’m actually trying to brave the camera myself to get you guys some new types of content and outfit ideas going forward. I’ll be sharing VIDEOS of all these pieces I grabbed over on Instagram stories if you want to hop over and join me.
If you have a church picnic coming up this striped blazer really dresses up the comfort of jeans. These Kut From The Kloth jeans were actually a best seller on my blog a year ago, but they sold out SO QUICKLY and didn’t restock. I have actually gotten emails from people who found a photo of me wearing these jeans on Pinterest (follow me here) and they were trying to track down a pair.
I love Kut From the Kloth denim and QVC carries other pieces from that brand here.
The Vince Camuto tank is a great staple for layering or wearing solo. I just saw that it’s on sale in lots of colors and they have extended sizing in this piece.
If you remember from my post with tips for packing light I love a versatile dress that can be restyled to look like a new piece each day of your trip. I always prefer to travel carry-on only to avoid baggage fees. This maxi dress (also available in blue) is one of those versatile dresses! Wear it open to the beach and belt it for a figure flattering dinner dress (even with a sexy slit up the leg if you choose).
Depending what kind of graduation ceremony you might be heading to there may be a lot of walking involved. They’re not know for being brief so I’d recommend dressing in something comfortable for a lot of walking and sitting. This wide leg jumpsuit (available in petite sizing as well) fits the bill and it has POCKETS!!! This jumpsuit is long enough for me to wear flats (I’m 5’11” for reference). My tip for not letting jumpsuits ride up your bum if you’re tall is to wear shapewear shorts under your jumpsuit which help prevent the wedgie ?.
This jumpsuit comes in 3 colors – including black! I am wearing the “mocha” which is between a taupe and olive green.
So a bit on the sizing of this striped maxi dress. I am usually a size 2 in dresses – between XS and Small. The XS in this dress was baggy in my chest. So if you’re busty – no need to worry. If you’re lacking in the chest, like me ?♀️, you may want to take this in a bit or SIZE DOWN! This dress is available in sizes XXS through 3X.
Also note that this dress has silver stripe which the camera does not really pick up.
If you guys have occasions you’re looking for outfit ideas for that I didn’t share above let me know in the comments and I’ll do my best to include some soon! Thank you as always for stopping by. If you want to keep up with what’s getting published here on the blog make sure to sign up for my weekly newsletter here. And happy early Mother’s Day to all my fellow mamas out there!
