Once the weather turns chilly I’m unlikely to be spotted in public in anything but a jacket.   For that reason I often want to make my coat count.   Today I’m partnering with South Moon Under to share my favorite statement fall outwear.

South Moon Under started as a brick and mortar store in Ocean City, Maryland that was so popular they’ve gradually expanded to 28 locations as well as an AMAZING online store.   The brands they carry are many of my personal favs – Free People, Blank NYC, and BB Dakota to name a few.  What I love most about their online store is that the styles are geared toward casual and cozy pieces that fit my lifestyle.  Because my style aligns so well with South Moon Under there are less pages to sort through to find what I’m looking for.

The plaid coat I’m wearing definitely makes a statement.   I love (faux) fur trimmed hoods because they make me feel like the cute snow bunny I’m way to uncoordinated to ever be.  Unlike many plaids, the colors in this coat are pretty neutral.   That’s my jam!  I am wearing XS this statement fall coat for reference.

You know I’m also always on board with slouchy sweaters paired with bralettes.  This sweater doesn’t disappoint .  It’s not itchy and falls just off the shoulder in the front with a surprise lace up detail in the back.  If you’re in the market for a new bralette – the Free People Heart Breaker lace bralette I’m wearing is under $30 (wearing size small in sweater and bralette)!

My jeans are by BlankNYC and fit true to size.   I find BlackNYC jeans don’t have as much elastic in them so they do stretch a bit with wear.   I am wearing my usual size in this pair.
