It was so cold and windy the day I shot these photos.   We went to a church – because I thought that might help give you guys the wedding guest vibes ????.  Did it work?   I was almost in tears I was so cold.

Personally I prefer a short dress as long as a wedding isn’t black tie because it enables me to more easily show off my (embarrassing) dance moves.   This Karl Lagerfeld ruffle hem sheath dress is tastefully short so I won’t offend anyone by showing off the smoothing undergarments I have on beneath.  No matter what size you are I think Spanx (or similar products) are a MUST under dresses to give a smooth look.   Underwear lines can make a gorgeous gown look a bit tacky.

I love the pastel pink color of this dress for Spring weddings.   I would consider going down one size in this dress.   In the photos above I am wearing one size below my usual dress and pants size.

Because the dress has the ruffled hem and lace details along with the statement clutch, I wanted to keep my shoe choice simple.  I have gotten so much wear out of these nude Steve Madden strappy sandals (size up 1/2 size, they run small).  If you went with a more simple clutch I think it would be cute to tie in rose gold heels to coordinate with the Vince Camuto cuff bracelet and rose gold drop earrings.
