There are lots of pretty and feminine trends for Spring but today I wanted to focus on ruffles.   Some readers had asked for ideas for Spring wedding guest dresses so I’m sharing some below.  Macy’s has a huge selection of dresses, and not just for weddings but for the office and vacations as well.   If you haven’t shopped at Macy’s they carry a lot of trendy brands.   Today I’m sharing pieces from one of my favorite fashion forward brands – 1 State.

Spring Trend: Ruffles

I brought this polka dot dress to Florida to wear out to dinner.   It would be really cute for a Spring wedding or shower.  It embraces the one shoulder trend with a little touch of support from the spaghetti strap that helps keep the dress in place.   For size reference I am wearing XS above (normally a size 2 in dresses).   If you’re between sizes I would size down in this ruffled dress.

In addition to the ruffles on this dress polka dots are also trending right now.  The polka dots on this 1 State dress are a little more subtle if you don’t like to scream trend-setter when you walk into a room.
