Hey friends!

Many of you had been avid supporters of the Charity Closet Sale on my Facebook page.    As it became more popular I was answering dozens of messages a day with people asking to buy things on the side before I listed them and having to follow up with people who “Bid” on items and didn’t send me their address, etc.    It became so time consuming to list, ship, and reply to messages that I had to put things on hold this summer when we were renovating our house.

I was quickly accumulating more and more items I wanted to pass on.   These items are all new or gently used.   While I didn’t want to lose the charity aspect I was paying more for the shipping and handling (my assistant prepared and mailed the items and I covered the shipping costs) than the donations themselves.

So I decided to start a Poshmark closet and see how that goes.    That way the sale is not limited to only folks with Facebook and it streamlines the shipping on our end.   I will use the money from the sale to cover Haley’s time and donate to the Plymouth House Scholarship Fund.
