If you didn’t see I just did a post about neutral handbags.   The tote is such a classic shape it isn’t going out of style any time soon. With these two outfits I am sharing a Dagne Dover stoned colored mini tote.  It’s the perfect size to carry around while out taking care of your holiday shopping.

Yet another slouchy sweater!   It is one of my favorite trends of the season.  This slouchy tunic sweater is of course oversized (I am wearing a small for reference) and comes in maroon and gray as well.  I wore it over fleece lined leggings.   If you live in an area with cold Winters I highly recommend fleece lined leggings.   They are much warmer and cozier than regular leggings.  I topped the leggings with my favorite over the knee boots (that I also have in cognac and taupe).  These boots do not slide down my calves.  I haven’t found that with any other affordable over the knee boot I have tried.  I am a US size 9 wearing a size 40 boot.

This dress (similar here and here), can be worn as more of a tunic as I am showing it here with leather leggings.  It’s a great casual piece but I dressed it up a bit with the fur vest.   Again – my favorite suede over the knee boots.   This taupe is actually my favorite color because it’s between gray and brown so it really pairs well with almost any outfit.   My gray fur vest is super affordable and my jeweled choker, as well as most of my jewelry, is from Baublebar.  They are currently having a big sale!  If you haven’t checked them out – they always have great deals on fun pieces of jewelry.

The Dagne Dover mini tote is a coated canvas.   A great option for those who chose not to use leather products for whatever reasons.  Again it’s a neutral color so I find it to be more wearable.   There is a cup holder within the purse which I hadn’t seen in any of my previous bags but I think it’s so clever.  I actually lost a cell phone to a water bottle that spilled on it in a handbag a few years ago.  There’s also an optional shoulder strap on this bag if wearing it that way interests you.
