I have been taking note of which posts you guys love to see the most and it happens to consistently be in the category of workwear outfits. Although I work from home, I enjoy putting together office appropriate looks for my 9 to 5 readers. I am excited to partner with Express to bring you 3 looks you can wear to the office that are both stylish and professional.
I love, love, love boyfriend blazers. I thought blazers were for more mature women until I found the right ones that were both stylish and flattering. This is a blazer you can wear to work or pair it with jeans and heels for a date night.
The pants are forgiving in the waist! I prefer to pair the ‘paperbag’ style pants with a more fitted blouse.
I love Express brand shoes. They carry outside brands as well but their own shoes are great quality at a very reasonable price point. If you’re looking for on trend footwear for inside or outside the office Express is a great place to peek around. Their animal print mules are one of my top shoe picks for fall and they fit true to size.
The downtown camis are also a wardrobe staple for me and they nailed this one with the snakeskin print. It’s lined so no issues with it being sheer. I have this in white and have been wearing it regularly for years! They machine was really well.
These work pants are probably my favorites of all the pairs I’ve tried in the the last few months. I was looking for something besides black because it collects lint with all the white knit pillows I have at home. These are so comfortable and look awesome. I’m wearing 2 long – my usual size. They’re a mid rise.
The belt reminds me of a high end designer piece because of the statement buckle. I’m not into flashy logos so I love this piece. I’m wearing the xs and can only get it on the second hole since these pants wear more on the hips than the waist. I will rewear this belt at the waist to cinch some tunics and sweater dresses this fall.
The bodysuit keeps the button down shirt tucked in smoothly which is awesome. It’s not a thong bodysuit, though those do exist you didn’t know. If you’re between sizes go up so the bust buttons don’t give you a wardrobe malfunction in the office.
Bodysuits are tricky for tall girls (and probably petite ones as well) – this one is ideal for someone 5’10” or less.
Such a fun on-trend top. I love the fit and the pattern. It’s dressy enough for work but also something you can rewear with jeans. I’m wearing xs. It looks great under a blazer as well.
The pants are high waisted which I love! They’re an ankle fit which I find to be flattering with both heels and flats. I’m wearing 2 long – my usual size.
The cut out in these mules give the illusion of longer legs. They are textured which is on trend for fall. These fit true to size.
Many of you follow because I’m tall (5’11” for reference) and you are too. For those of you who work in offices that allow for jeans on casual Friday, feel free to check out this post where I shared some of my favorite jeans for tall women as I know the struggle of finding ones that fit. Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you to Express for partnering on this post.
