Keds at Macy’s is launching the Keds Studio Spring 2018 product line, and I’m excited to show you the adorable Keds I picked up and 4 ways I styled them for Spring. I love Keds because not only are they insanely comfortable and versatile for a busy mom like myself, but they still have style so I feel like they make an outfit look more polished than other sneakers might.
The Ked’s Women’s Driftkick Lace Up Sneakers I have are super stylish for a sneaker because of the light pink, textured material they are made with combined with the dark, black laces. They are unlike any other sneakers I have in my collection and I know the more polished look to them means I’ll get a TON of wear out of them for Spring and Summer (and let’s be honest, Fall and Winter too!)
How great do these Keds look with a simple cotton dress?! Wearing a dress with sneakers is always a simple, “dressed-down” way to wear a dress, but because these sneakers have some style, it still looks very polished and put together! These Driftkick Keds are already a pull-on sneaker and wash well in the washing machine.
I love throwing a chambray or flannel top around my waist with dresses, too. Not only is it figure flattering (and the perfect way to cover up an taco babies after a Mexican date night), but during this weird spring weather it’s great to have the extra layer as backup if it gets cold.
Sometimes taking a little inspiration from the men in our lives is the way to go! Relaxed fit boyfriend jeans, a lose flowy top and a baseball cap is not only mega effortless but also SO versatile for a mom-on-the-go like me. Sometimes, a cute dress or heels just won’t cut it. I think my Keds Studio Collection sneakers are a great base to this outfit. I always suggest giving your jeans a slight cuff at the hem as the perfect way to pair jeans and sneakers.
A loose, oversized cardigan is a staple for me on spring weekends when the weather can go from freezing to warm in a matter of hours. This light, neutral camo cardigan has been my GO-TO recently (I’m sure you’ve been seeing it all over my feeds.) I kept the entire outfit light and neutral with light wash jeans, a light grey tank, and of course my light and bright Keds.
It’s hard to believe shorts weather is around the corner but it is, so I wanted to throw in a jean short option for you without baring my ghostly legs. Since we have to ease into shorts season I’d pair it with a long sleeve waffle knit top (size down) and a lacy bralette.
These Keds can seriously take you from dresses to boyfriend jeans, to jeggings to shorts. Who doesn’t love a shoe that is THAT versatile?
