Since I’m working the mom job every day I dress for comfort more often than not.   So when I am shopping, especially intense holiday shopping, I like to wear something comfortable.  Any time I can wear leggings I am happy, and making them look stylish instead of frumpy is easy.

A poncho is a great layering piece around the holidays.   This gray, knit, cowl neck poncho also comes in a  beige as well.  I layered my sweater over a white tunic, (cheaper here) which is a staple layering piece in my winter wardrobe.   The leather leggings I am wearing here are thick and have a great look but I personally love that the Spanx leather leggings are higher waisted (at a much higher price).  I like to feel locked and loaded in my leggings.

A slim over the knee boot and longer sweater mean people might not even notice you’re wearing leggings instead of pants.  Comfortably chic – I guess I’ve fallen into the true mom style.  I never expected I would be the tunic type – but here I am – I can’t get enough of them.
