When holiday parties roll around in Connecticut it’s almost always EXTREMELY cold.   Even if the thermometer says 40 degrees, it’s early in the season so 40 feels like 10 below (and then in March 40 will feel like 70!).  I often opt for pants to stay warm and avoid broadcasting my pale legs.  Here are two fun holiday pants outfits you might want to snag during your holiday shopping to keep you comfortably chic at your next holiday party.

 

The sequin pants and leather pumps I linked were SIMILAR items.  I’ve been rockin’ sequins and leopard for while so my items are old and out of stock.   The black wrap coat I showed there is just like the one I often wear on Instagram and in real life in a VERY light tan color.  It actually comes in 5 colors and I am wearing a size small for reference.   The black one belongs to my friend Christina over at Oh so Glam Blog who took these pictures for me.

My office actually cancelled their Christmas party this year.   In the 7.5 years I have worked there this will be a first.  I’m bummed but the holidays are hectic and I won’t be short on celebrations.   Do you attend many holiday parties?

And did you know many of the Black Friday or Cyber Week sales have already started??   Here are some places that have already started their holiday shopping sales:

Shopbop – the more you spend, the more you save.  The lowest amount to save is 15% off a $200 purchase and it goes up from there.   They do not have exclusions so a lot of designer items that almost never go on sale are discounted.   If you have your eye on a certain bag or boot you might want to check there soon before things sell out.

Baublebar – they’ve started their sales with 30% off gift sets today.

Nordstrom has already started a lot of their sales.  Some items may be discounted further on Friday but a lot of Free People sweaters I own (or want to own) are on sale and will sell out before Black Friday.

Macy’s is having 20% off and that sale includes my favorite Spanx leggings.

Express is having 50% off site wide!!!   They have such fun dress up clothes for holiday parties.

Neiman Marcus – which is not located near me, already discounted a lot of items 40%.  I have not shopped there since I live within 5 minutes of Nordstrom but it certainly looks lovely  🙂

J. Crew is having 40% off your order and a great place for closet staples.
