Today I was driving to get mums with my little guy and the Tim McGraw song “Humble and Kind” was on the radio. I’ve heard it a lot in the last few weeks and it hits me every time. It’s just message after message of things I am trying so hard to instill in my kids.
My favorite line is “Don’t hold a grudge….Bitterness keeps you from flying'”. Our moments on this earth, beside our families, are so precious. Who has time to waste being angry or holding grudges?
I love the quote “anger is like swallowing poison and expecting the other person to die”. Think about it! It’s a true life changer. You can only change your mind and your actions. Do so! Choose forgiveness and you’ll find happiness. I might wake up tired but I wake up every day feeling grateful for what I DO have.

While we were shooting pictures of this outfit my husband told me he was ready to try and reinforce Mac (3 years old) sleeping in his own room. i.e.: he thought this outfit was hot! These are called “sculpting jeans”, meaning they’re SUPER tight. Mine are a size 4 Tall and I cuffed them at the bottom for this look to show the laces on the pumps.
Lace-up everything is in right now so the pumps and this sweater are on trend. I love this soft pink. It’s not often that I break away from neutrals – so this is sort of a gateway color for me.
This bag has a chain that I had tucked inside that really makes it look so much like the Chloe ‘Faye’ bag. THE BAG AND SWEATER ARE 50% OFF TODAY SO I’M SHARING MY POST EARLY AS A GOOD DEED TO YOUR WALLET 🙂
What kind of outfits does your partner find sexy? My husband hates menswear. If I wear a blazer – forget it!
