When planning for NYFW in early September you aren’t quite sure what the weather will be. Like most, I am ready to break out my Fall fashion. Mother nature was not on our side. It was very hot and humid much of the time I spent in the city. This was an outfit I wore out to dinner with a few friends Saturday night. It was much too warm during the daytime for this sort of outfit.
I loved the monochrome white outfits over the summer so here is my Fall take (using blush and burgundy) on the monochrome outfit trend. This TopShop top fits so well and has such a great neckline. I find high-waisted flares to be very flattering and I accessorized with simple, statement jewelry (including this velvet choker) and a pink crossbody I borrowed from a friend.
We headed to a restaurant called the Fig and Olive. The food was just ok or I’d tell you more about it.
I’ll be posting more about my time at New York Fashion Week in the coming weeks if you are interested.
