Summer Outfit Idea #1: Off the Shoulder Top & Distressed Jeans

If you are taking portraits this summer, off the shoulder tops are very flattering! Although not my go-to style for a day of playing with the kids, it is so cute and perfect for a day out or date night. The top features a double layer of fabric so you don’t have to worry about anything peeking through. I’m wearing an extra small.

Also just because it’s summer, doesn’t mean you have to put all your jeans in storage. Look for lighter washes like these jeans. They have an awesome fit and holds their shape well. I love the distressing. It gives off a more casual feel.

Summer Outfit Idea #2: Chambray Shirt & Eyelet Shorts

I love eyelet details for summer. From the high waisted fit, the tie waist and scalloped hem, these shorts are awesome. I’m wearing a size 2 and they fit snug. I recommend sizing up if you are in between sizes. You will also pair these shorts with a basic cami or a lightweight t-shirt. The chambray shirt is another summer staple I love. They look great paired with so many summer styles.

Summer Outfit Idea #3: Maxi Dress & Chambray Shirt

This is a picturesque dress for the beach and a great 4th of July option. It comes in regular and petite sizes. I’m wearing the XS regular and I’m 5’11” to reference. The chambray shirt is a summer alternative to a denim jacket. So versatile and good to keep the sun or bugs off your arms. I’m wearing small. If between sizes, go up if you like a slightly relaxed fit.
