While I’m excited to visit my favorite restaurants in the coming months I’m really enjoying getting creative with my time at home.

Luxury Home Tours

I mentioned this on Facebook and and Instagram. My husband and I have been using our smart TV to connect to YouTube and tour some really amazing homes. Grab a glass of wine, travel down this YouTube rabbit hole, and then make a list of each person’s top 3 over the top home wishlist items. This tour includes some INSANE backyard water parks that my husband put at the top of his list.

Fondue Party

The irony of being a lactose intolerant human whose favorite food is cheese. My poor husband!! We both love to roast up a bunch of veggies and some meat to dip in fondue. My kids want to do fondue with a loaf of bread each so we usually save this for an adults only evening.

Inside or out – wouldn’t it be fun to build your own mini golf! Bring a cocktail or eat on the course. Anything goes ?‍♀️.

Virtual Zoom Game Night for a Double Date

Make it a party and have a double date night with friends. A few fun-guaranteed game ideas you could play virtually are: charades, pictionary, or trivia. For pictionary, just use the whiteboard tool on Zoom. There are also game companies like Jackbox where you can buy a game packs and you can play as a group.

Stay at Home Date Night Outfit Ideas

My Outfit: Top (xs) // Cami (xs) // Jeans (true to size – 2 long) // Shoes

Chris’ Outfit: Blazer (medium) // Henley (medium tall) // Jeans (tts – 32”x34”)

Jeans are dressy for both Chris and I. Left to our own devices, we’d both be in joggers 24/7 but to make a date feel special I think it’s important to force myself to get a bit glammed up.  Currently the jeans we are wearing above –his (true to size, 32/34) and mine (true to size, wearing 2 long) are our most loved pairs. The wash, the fit, – both of these pairs of Express jeans hold their shape for a few wears.

I added some drama – “hello, notice me ?‍♀️. I’m not in a sweatshirt”, with the puff sleeve lace top (wearing xs).  The shoulders are SO EXTRA I love them. This shirt will definitely turn heads when we can get back to date nights at restaurants as well. Because this top is lace, I layered it over this shelf bra cami (xs). Feels more like home (date night in) when underwire isn’t part of the outfit ?.

Also – if you want to impress you significant other – wear heels. My hubby always gets the ? look when I add heels to an outfit. These fit true to size.

Chris is a big fan of Express men’s department.  They carry tall sizes.  He’s just over 6’2” so he sometimes orders tall shirts (he’s wearing medium tall in this awesome white henley) so he doesn’t have to worry about them shrinking up in the dryer. Like heels for me – if he throws on a blazer (wearing medium) I know he’s in it to win it ??.

Take these jeans on a future date night with this eyelet crop top (wearing xs).  I’m a 37 year old mom. The only way I’ll wear a crop top is with VERY high waisted jeans and I love this pairing.
